Hello everybody! I'm back in production with a new improvisation this week. I've been listening to some music lately that really encourages you to focus totally and listen deeply, music without much movement*, so I was inspired to start off in that manner, with long quiet tones, to see what I could find in them. Soon they gathered closer together, and the improvisation opened up into something a little more expansive, and it felt like clouds parting when I listened back to it later. That's why I chose this lovely photo by Matt Hardy from Pexels, which depicts a rainbow breaking over the English Channel as viewed from Mont Saint-Michel in Normandy, a place I have not yet had the pleasure of visiting. The photo and the music together seem to summarize my life lately, so it seemed like the perfect fit. Every storm does indeed pass.
